Verification is an independent review of your EPD and its supporting documents. The platform organises the digital workflow; an assigned verifier performs the technical assessment.
Prepare for review
Submit a reviewed EPD with an up-to-date background report and required evidence. Agree beforehand who will answer calculation questions and who will address product questions. Availability helps resolve outstanding issues.
Independence and scope
IBU assigns the reviewer. The review addresses completeness, plausibility and consistency against the applicable rules. Verification is not a consultancy assignment to prepare your LCA.
Address questions traceably
A query may require an explanation, evidence or a correction. Answer the specific point and identify the document sections changed. Keep result tables, descriptions and the background report consistent.
After technical review
Successful verification does not complete publication. The required approval and final checks follow. Inadequate documents may require further work, so coordinate intended dates with IBU.
