The life cycle assessment describes the environmental impacts of the product on a defined basis. EPD-Online incorporates the resulting information into the declaration; calculations take place outside the platform.
Define scope and reference quantity
Agree product coverage, the declared or functional unit and the life cycle modules assessed with your LCA specialist. Include the necessary scenarios. These choices must fit the PCR and affect how results are interpreted.
Evaluate company data in the model
Specialists combine production information with suitable background data and document methodological decisions. Missing inputs, allocations and assumptions need traceable treatment. Software choice alone does not establish compliance with programme rules.
Deliver results and background report
Arrange delivery of result tables with explicit units, modules and version information. The background report explains the calculations and their basis. Check together that the EPD text and assessment concern the same products, sites and periods.
Transfer content into EPD-Online
Transfer the agreed results into the designated tables or available import template. Then check units and column mapping. Technical verification takes place later; successful data entry does not confirm the calculations.
