An Excel template is available in the relevant LCA area for entering values. Use the template provided for your EPD rather than uploading an arbitrary spreadsheet.
1. Download the matching template
Open the LCA editing area containing system boundaries and result tables. Expand the alternative Excel-template entry area if necessary. Download the template offered there for the selected standard.
2. Fill the template with checked values
Enter the agreed values and follow the template instructions. Keep its structure intact. Check units, modules and the reference quantity with your LCA specialist. Having an Excel file does not establish technical correctness.
3. Upload the file and wait for the result
Upload the completed template in the same area. Follow the displayed format and size restrictions. If an error appears, check the template and mapping; merely renaming an unsuitable file will not resolve it.
4. Check the results in the EPD
Compare the resulting tables with the source file. Check blank fields, number formatting and column mapping in particular. Complete the editing dialog as instructed and then review the preview.
