The PDF preview shows your content in its document context. Use it for the final internal check before submitting the EPD for verification.
1. Open the current working version
First save any open editing dialogs. Open the EPD display and check that your latest change is included. A previously downloaded PDF does not update when you make later edits.
2. Check product references and readability
Check names, declaration owner, sites, language and scope. Review tables for completeness, units and correct mapping. Look for clipped text, unsuitable images and wording left over from a draft.
3. Compare the EPD with its supporting documents
Check that results and statements match the current background report. Ensure all required evidence is attached. Input validation can indicate missing information but does not replace technical review.
4. Correct the source content
Correct errors in the relevant EPD-Online input areas and check the updated preview. Do not substitute a locally edited PDF for corrected platform data. A preview is not yet a published declaration.
