Use the published, valid version of your EPD for customers and partners. A document generated during editing may be incomplete and does not replace the final version.
Select the valid declaration
Check scope, language, declaration number and validity date. Make sure the requested product is covered. Where several EPDs have similar names, the name alone is not sufficient.
Obtain the PDF
Open the relevant published EPD and use the PDF download function. Check the downloaded file. EPD-Online also provides downloads during editing, so always check the status of the source document.
Share the link and file appropriately
Link to the published record or provide the complete, unmodified PDF. Include the product reference and declaration number in your message or website. Do not edit results or validity information in a local copy.
Keep internal copies current
Associate the file with the correct product and record when you checked it. Replace outdated versions in sales repositories and download areas when a new version is published. Historical records should remain clearly identified.
