Webi­nar — “Deep Dive into EPD”

Ste­fan Zwerenz, Head of the Ver­i­fi­ca­tion Body at IBU, will immerse you in the excit­ing world of EPDs (Envi­ron­men­tal Prod­uct Declarations).

He will explain the con­tent and infor­ma­tion in an EPD and how it is used at com­po­nent and build­ing lev­el. He will also pro­vide an out­look on dig­i­tal­i­sa­tion in the con­text of EPDs. EPDs iden­ti­fy the envi­ron­men­tal impact of a build­ing prod­uct over its entire life cycle — stan­dard­ised, inde­pen­dent­ly ver­i­fied and dig­i­tal­ly applicable.

This data basis forms a cru­cial cor­ner­stone for sus­tain­able con­struc­tion. What was still a niche top­ic a few years ago has now reached the mass­es for all those involved in con­struc­tion. IBU invites every­one inter­est­ed to dive deep­er into the world of EPDs and famil­iarise them­selves with this com­plex instrument.
