The new schedule of fees, which comes into force on 12 August 2026, clarifies and supplements certain provisions of the EPD programme. The fees remain largely unchanged. Notably, the new regulations include clearer guidelines on how to handle abandoned verifications, subsequently submitted annexes, amendments to published EPDs and the verification of software tools. In this way, the IBU is creating greater transparency regarding specific procedural cases and their billing.
