With EPDs, the envi­ron­men­tal impact of a build­ing prod­uct over its entire life cycle is report­ed, stan­dard­ised, inde­pen­dent­ly ver­i­fied and dig­i­tal­ly applic­a­ble. This data basis forms a cru­cial cor­ner­stone for sus­tain­able con­struc­tion. What was still a niche top­ic a few years ago has now become a main­stream issue for every­one involved in construction.
