With these new additions, the IBU’s membership has grown from 316 companies in the first quarter to 330 companies in the second quarter, an increase of over 4% percent. “We are thrilled with the positive response and the ever-growing interest in our association,” says Anita Kietzmann, Head of Public Relations/PR and Member Services at the IBU. “These new corporate members bring valuable resources in the form of EPD data that will help to achieve the requirements in the field of sustainable construction even better,” Kietzmann continues.

This information is crucial for promoting sustainable building practices and helping to make informed decisions in the context of sustainability.

Through their membership of the IBU, these companies now have the opportunity to benefit from the comprehensive expertise in the creation of EPDs and at the same time strengthen their own sustainability goals. Preparing EPDs is an important step for the new members to create transparency and minimize their environmental impact.

The IBU invites all interested companies to join and become part of a dynamic and engaged community in the IBU. More information about the association and how to become a member can be found on the website under Association in the Membership section at www.ibu-epd.com.
